Night fishing permitted (over 18s only). 400+ head of common and mirror carp, 6 fish over 30lb at the right time of year. Home to "The Princess", a fully scaled mirror at 30lb 2oz. No longer takes bookings — first come first served since April 2018. Bark-chipped swims, some large enough for multiple bivvies.

  • Barbless hooks only
  • No leaders of any kind
  • No floating baits
  • No floating poles
  • No bait boats
  • No spodding in matches
  • No fixed rigs (including paternoster)
  • Minimum 12in hook length below float, 4in below feeder/method
  • Baited rods must not be left unattended
  • All nets, mats and retainers must be dipped before use
  • Must be 18+ to fish Middle Lake; 16 and under can fish Small/Stock if checked in by an adult
  • Under 12s must be accompanied by an adult at all times
  • Bait limits vary by lake (boilies, pellets, sweetcorn, luncheon meat — see lake-specific rules)
  • All visitors must report to reception
  • Lifetime ban for littering
  • 10% discount for armed forces with valid ID
