About This Fishery

An established coarse fishery and caravan park operating since the 1980s, set within 13.5 acres at Foston, 5 miles north of Grantham. Seven fishing lakes with over 160 pegs across pleasure and match waters: Poplar, Willow and Sycamore are pleasure lakes available to all on day ticket; Ash, Hawthorn and Chestnut form an 80-peg match complex for club and open matches. Disabled-friendly pegs on every lake. 29-pitch static caravan park, holiday accommodation and 2 stock ponds also on site.

Day ticket pleasure lake. Embraced by willow trees. Good head of silver fish including skimmers, roach, chub, tench, perch and crucians. Also a good head of carp of all sizes from a few ounces upwards, with lots of doubles and a few twenties.

  • Day tickets for pleasure lakes must be purchased from the machine in the car park BEFORE fishing (coins required). No booking needed.
  • Fishing from 6am to dusk. No night fishing.
  • All anglers must hold a valid Environment Agency rod licence.
  • Match lakes (Ash, Hawthorn, Chestnut) available for club and open match bookings -- contact fishery.
  • Barbless hooks only (maximum size 10 on Hawthorn -- ghost carp are wily).
  • No keepnets except in organised matches.
  • All fish to be returned to the water.
  • Disabled-friendly pegs available on all lakes.
