About This Fishery

Six former gravel pits managed by the Harleston, Wortwell and District Angling Club in the Waveney Valley on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. Three pits -- Middle Pit (36 pegs), No.1 Pit (56 pegs, carp to 40lb+), and the vast 100-acre Ocean Pit -- are available on day and weekly tickets. Night fishing is restricted to members only.

Up to 2 additional rods permitted on Ocean Pit only (extra cost applies).

Bait

No floating baits permitted.

Access

Club Pit, Kingfisher Pit, and Bottle Pit are members-only waters.
Juniors under 13 fish free when accompanied by a paying adult.
Juniors under 18 night fishing must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+ on the same or adjoining peg.
Night fishing restricted to members only.
River Waveney fishing rights are members-only.
Tickets must be purchased before arriving at the pits -- NOT available on the bank. Closest outlet: Harleston Service Station, Harleston (also sells bait).
