About This Fishery

A major family-run coarse fishery complex on the outskirts of Boston, founded by Alan Coupland in 2006, with seven well-stocked lakes covering all abilities from junior and beginner on Hawk Lake to serious match and specimen anglers on Kestrel, Falcon and Kingfisher. On-site facilities include the Fisherman's Rest cafe, the Mallard Lounge and Bar, one of Lincolnshire's largest bait and tackle shops, and 30 luxury holiday lodges.

Fishery Rules
  • Manufactured barbless hooks only, maximum standard size 12. Regular checks carried out; incorrect hooks result in a ban.
  • Free running leads and feeders only -- inline and flatbed method feeders only; no elasticated feeders.
  • No floating pole method; minimum 6 inches between pole tip and float, maximum 1 metre.
  • Minimum 6 inches of line between float and hook; 4 inch minimum hook length for feeder or ledger.
  • All nets to be dipped in dipping tank provided before fishing.
  • No keep nets for pleasure fishing -- matches only.
  • Movement of fish between lakes is not permitted.
  • Fish must be returned in the landing net -- do not throw fish back.
  • Careful handling of fish at all times -- do not stand holding fish or walk around with fish in landing nets.
  • Fishery purchased feed pellets only -- no bought-in feed pellets.
  • Groundbait via cup or feeder only, no throwing. 2kg groundbait limit.
  • Paste, hook/banded/expander pellets and boilies permitted as hookbait only.
  • No dog meat, cat meat or luncheon meat.
  • No surface fishing or floating baits -- a float must be used at all times.
  • No slapping or tapping; no jigger floats.
  • You cannot feed with a pole whilst fishing a rod.
  • No parking on grass -- use car parking spaces provided.
  • Remove all litter from pegs including discarded line.
  • Under-16s must be supervised by a suitable adult over 18 at all times.
  • All anglers must hold a valid Environment Agency rod licence.
