Campbell Lake

COMPETITION ONLY — no pleasure fishing permitted at any time. Open competitions and lake bookings available, contact the fishery directly. Heavily stocked with carp averaging 8lb, high chance of teen-figure fish.

Cary Lake

Nicknamed "Scary Cary" for the size of its fish. A great runs water, fish to mid-20s with low-20s coming out regularly. Stocked with silvers too, the best lake on site for perch, and some of the fishery's better tench.

Closest lake to the shop — short walk. May close Thursdays during winter months (confirm with fishery). Holds a range of fish.

Match Lake

Smallest lake on the complex. Ideal for juniors and beginners wanting a busy day. Stocked with lots of F1s and mostly single-figure carp, with the chance of an occasional teen-figure fish. Plenty of silvers.

Spring/Middle Lake

Spring and Middle Lake are joined into one continuous water. Holds some of the biggest carp on the complex, plenty of silvers, one of the best lakes for perch. Holiday lodges sit along the edge of Middle Lake (Pegs 28-35 reserved for lodge guests only).

Fishery Rules

Tackle

Barbless hooks only
Max 2 rods per person
No bait boats, no "magic twigs"
No braid reel lines
No carp or F1s in keepnets; silverfish allowed in keepnets, 50lb limit
No fixed rigs (including anything up the line, e.g. swivels)
No lure/spin/drop shot fishing

Bait

No live/dead baits (maggots, worms etc. excluded from this ban)

Conduct

All fish returned
Fishing from platforms only — do not enter the water
No dogs

Access

Juniors must be accompanied by an adult (18+)
No night fishing
No refunds
No spectators except partners/parents accompanying juniors
Pay before fishing — in the shop, or via prepay envelopes outside the shop door if closed
Valid EA rod licence required

Safety

Landing net required at all times; unhooking mat required unless unhooking safely from a seat box
No gear hire apart from landing nets and unhooking mats — bring your own or buy on-site
