Upper Lough Erne

Major coarse fishing water supporting bream, roach, perch, pike, tench and eels, with trout and salmon also present. Pike congregate in weedy and reed-fringed bays from November to March. Winter coarse fishing is generally best in deeper, calmer river sections. Ballinaleck Quay, Broadmeadow, Scotch Store and Schools are noted angling areas. DAERA currently displays the water size with an apparently incorrect unit, so no area figure has been entered.
