About This Fishery

One of the Midlands' premier commercial fisheries, set in the village of Shrewley in the Warwickshire countryside. Nine purpose-built pools and two and a half miles of the Grand Union Canal offer over 300 pegs for pleasure and match anglers. The complex hosts major national competition qualifiers including Fish-O-Mania, Maver Match This and the Daiwa Pole Fishing Masters, alongside an active weekly club and open match programme.

Tackle
  • Barbless hooks only.
  • Keepnets must be left on the bank for 20 minutes and be dry before entering the water.
Conduct
  • All fish to be returned alive.
  • No gardening -- no laying or folding of reeds or raking of pools. Only floating debris in your peg area may be removed with a landing net.
Access
  • All tickets must be purchased from the tackle shop before fishing.
  • For open matches, check in by 07:45; draw at 09:00 (08:45 in summer).
  • Pegs can be pre-booked by calling the shop on 01926 842188.
  • Valid EA rod licence required at all times.
Safety
  • Visitors to the fishery do so at their own risk.
