Ted Whiteman Waters

Ted Whiteman Waters, The Grange is a mature gravel pit situated in Langford, Bedfordshire. It was dug for its gravel in 1957 and since then become a carp fishing hot spot. It has seen many anglers over its time grace the banks in search of the carp it has held in both times gone, and times new. Since April 15th 2022, we have been open for bookings via the website for all to enjoy the fishing it presents.

• All bookings must be made via the website — no cash on arrival, payment taken at time of booking
• Maximum 7 days booked at once
• Non-fishing guests £10, must be registered/paid for at booking
• Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult; the adult must book on as a guest if not fishing themselves
• Otter-fenced site — gate must be closed immediately after every access/exit
• No fishing permitted on the boundary river under any circumstances
• Fishery-provided unhooking mats, weight slings, landing nets, poles and water buckets only — no personal nets/mats/floats
• Captured fish not retained for long periods, day or night
• Fish only from designated swims
• No plastic/imitation baits, no surface/zig fishing, no nuts as loose feed or hookbait
• No rowing boats
• No dogs
• Bait boats ARE permitted
• Max 3 rods per angler
• Micro-barbed or barbless hooks only
• Refunds only with 7+ days notice (20% admin fee applies); no refund for no-shows
• Loyalty card scheme available (1 stamp per 24hr session, non-transferable)
