  • A valid EA Rod Licence must be in possession when fishing.
  • Day tickets are paid on the bank to an authorised Luton AC bailiff carrying photo ID. Just arrive and start fishing - the bailiff will come to you.
  • Check the Luton AC events calendar before fishing to avoid a wasted journey - the water may be booked for a match.
  • Non-members may fish 28 numbered pegs on the southern end of the lagoon only, from the first peg to the river inlet.
  • OVERHEAD POWER LINE WARNING: Do not fish or cast in the overhead power line areas. These are strictly no-fishing zones.
  • Under-16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
  • Night fishing: non-members on a day/night ticket must vacate the swim by 12pm on the day of departure. Fishing beyond 12pm incurs an additional day ticket charge.
  • No camper vans or caravans permitted on site. Wyboston Lakes operates 24-hour security patrols.
  • No toilet facilities at this venue - come prepared.
  • All fish must be returned immediately - no carp sacks, retainer slings or keepnets for carp, zander, pike, barbel or catfish over 12".
  • Minimum landing net size 42 inches for carp and pike anglers. Suitably sized unhooking mat required.
  • Barbless hooks only. No fixed rigs - semi-fixed clips only.
  • No braided main line from reel to hook. Mono or fluorocarbon must be used. Braided hook links must not exceed 9 inches.
  • No wading to place baits.
  • Baited lines must not be left unattended. Being at a distance with an alarm receiver is NOT acceptable under EA byelaws.
  • Livebaiting is permitted using a single hook (lip-hooked) with no more than 8 silver fish up to 6 inches caught from the water being fished. No imported livebait.
  • No glass bottles or tins containing bait.
  • No dogs, BBQs or fires.
  • No litter - remove all rubbish including any that was already in the swim when you arrived.
