About This Fishery

Waterloo Lake is a 15-acre coarse fishery set within one of the largest urban parks in the world, built by soldiers after their return from the Battle of Waterloo in the early 19th century. The lake holds bream to 7lb, roach, carp to 20lb, pike to 20lb, perch to 3lb and tench, with hard-standing pegs near the Lakeside Cafe providing disabled-friendly access. The upper Mansion Lake has no fishing -- it is a protected wildlife habitat.
