About This Fishery

A purpose-built commercial coarse lake of 2.5 acres constructed in 2007 in the village of Norton near Doncaster, fed by five natural springs. All 43 custom wooden pegs are all-weather, with two fully wheelchair-accessible swims, and an on-site cafe and tackle shop serve visiting anglers.

Tackle
  • No wading.
  • Only fishery nets to be used.
  • Rods and equipment must not be left unattended.
Bait
  • No Floating Baits (inc Bread and Pellets)
  • No Trout Pellets, Boilies, Peanuts, Tigernuts, Bloodworm and Joker.
  • No unused bait to be thrown into the lake at the end of a session.
  • Only Coarse pellets purchased from Roan Fishery may be used as a feed bait.
  • Other particle feed baits, hemp, sweetcorn, etc. restricted to 1 large can per angler.
Conduct
  • Fishing only allowed off swims provided.
  • Litter Must be placed in the bins provided.
  • No Dogs allowed around the fishery at any time.
  • No radios to be played when fishing.
  • No stoves or cooking at the fishery.
  • No Swimming.
Access
  • No children under 14 to be left unsupervised.
