A 15-acre, three-lake fishery run by Helen and David Wood on the edge of Barton-upon-Humber, with views of the Humber Bridge. Reopened in 2013 as Pasture Wood Fisheries (previously Pasture House Fisheries). Main Lake (5.9 acres, 46 pegs), The Neck (1.3 acres, 20 pegs) and Canal Lake (1.3 acres, 21 pegs), with log cabins, a cafe, disabled facilities, and a well-stocked bait and tackle shop on site.
Primary specimen water. Large head of carp to 35lb+. Bream over 10lb, Roach and Ide to 2lb+, Pike to 40lb+. Groundbait feeder and boilies most effective. Path links all 46 pegs.
Connected to Main Lake by wooden bridge. 9 pegs one side, 11 the other. Plus 7 double pegs for cabin occupants at southern end. Carp to 30lb, Tench, Bream, Roach, Ide, Rudd and Barbel. Pole favoured. Matches regularly won with 100lb+ bags. Good winter match water.
