About This Fishery

A small family-run fishery run by David and Dawn on the Lincolnshire/Nottinghamshire/Doncaster border near Misterton. Two lakes: a 2.9-acre carp lake with 5 pegs (including hut pegs) and a 1.2-acre mixed coarse pleasure lake with 11 platform pegs. Bailiff on site 24/7; breakfast available on site.

Sessions: 24hrs at £25 (single) or £50 (double). Lake exclusive £175 for up to 7 anglers. Advance booking and full payment required. No pod, no booking on hut pegs. Carp 10lb–32lb+.

Fishery Rules
  • Carp lake: advance booking required, paid in full at time of booking. No refunds.
  • Free membership required to book the carp lake (via Swimbooker — registration form must be completed and approved).
  • Gates close at 7pm — call if you need to leave after this time.
  • No visitors, guests or under-16s on the carp lake.
  • No pets allowed.
  • All nets, slings and mats must be dry on arrival — entry refused if wet or damp.
  • Barbless hooks, maximum size 6 (carp lake) or size 8 (pleasure lake).
  • Maximum 2 rods per angler.
  • No rods to be left unattended.
  • Minimum 36 inch landing net (carp lake).
  • No braided mainline; braided hooklengths permitted on pleasure lake only.
  • Maximum 15lb mainline.
  • No leaders; tubing must be used.
  • No fixed lead rigs — leads must break away.
  • Bait boats permitted on carp lake only, used responsibly.
  • No plastic or artificial bait.
  • No surface fishing or zig rigs; pop-ups maximum 4 inches off bottom.
  • No particles (except tinned sweetcorn on carp lake; sweetcorn allowed on pleasure lake).
  • No bread, cat or dog biscuits.
  • No groundbait on carp lake; groundbait via cup or feeder only on pleasure lake.
  • Carp lake: only shop-bought boilies or house pellets; no other loose feed.
  • Must have Propolis carp care product (carp lake).
  • No fish to be retained.
  • Fish being photographed must be held over the mat or cradle whilst kneeling — do not hold fish standing up.
  • Remove all litter when packing up and take it home.
  • Anglers breaking rules will be asked to leave with no refund.
  • No tents allowed on carp lake.
  • Under-16s must be supervised by an adult at all times (pleasure lake).
  • Respect fishery boundaries — no climbing fences or trees.
  • Luncheon meat as hookbait only (pleasure lake).
