About This Fishery

One of the North of England's premier coarse fisheries, set across 66 acres near Messingham. Three dedicated day ticket lakes cater exclusively for pleasure anglers, alongside several match-only waters and two syndicate lakes. The North and South Lakes are noted for catfish alongside quality carp and silverfish.

Fishery Rules
  • Barbless hooks only, maximum size 6.
  • No keepnets or sacks — all fish must be returned to the water immediately. An unhooking mat must be in the angler's possession at all times.
  • Maximum 2 rods per angler at any time. Rods must not be left unattended.
  • Fishery pellets only (feed and hook pellets), available from the on-site shop. Spot checks are carried out; anglers using non-fishery pellets will be asked to leave.
  • No cat or dog meat.
  • No night fishing on Oak Tree Pond — day ticket only, dawn till dusk.
  • Night fishing on North and South Lakes is permitted from double pegs only and must be booked in advance.
  • Bait boats are permitted provided their use does not interfere with other anglers.
  • No dogs on site.
  • Anglers fish at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety.
