About This Fishery

A single-lake coarse fishery on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds near Middle Rasen, managed by Andy and Suzie. Stocked with carp, tench, bream, chub, perch, roach and barbel — some reaching 20lb — with accessible pegs and car-side parking for select swims. Ethos is "good honest fishing": no memberships, just buy a ticket and fish.

The Lake

Single lake set on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Woodland entrance. Many pegs wheelchair accessible with ground-level platforms; select pegs have car-side parking.

Fishery Rules
  • Barbless hooks only, maximum size 8.
  • Maximum of two rods unless agreed prior.
  • A suitable landing net must be used at all times.
  • Unhooking mats must be used for larger fish.
  • When fishing for carp, a carp care kit must be carried.
  • Safe rigs must be used to prevent fish from becoming tethered.
  • Fish must not be kept in keepnets or sacks.
  • All fish must be returned to the water unharmed.
  • Fishing from designated pegs only.
  • Anglers must hold a valid Environment Agency rod licence and a lake permit.
  • Anglers under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
  • Night fishing is only permitted with prior booking and approval.
  • No floating bread.
  • Quality artificial baits are allowed but not directly on hooks.
  • Whole tiger nuts are strictly prohibited.
  • No smoke-style bait additives or attractants.
  • Any sick, injured or distressed fish must be reported immediately.
  • All litter must be taken home or placed in bins provided.
  • No loud music, excessive noise or disruptive behaviour.
  • Alcohol consumption is limited to responsible amounts.
  • No illegal drugs on site.
  • Damage to property, vegetation or banks will result in a ban.
  • Well-behaved dogs are welcome but please clear any mess.
