About This Fishery

Larford Lakes is one of the Midlands' foremost commercial fisheries, set in 28 acres of Worcestershire countryside on the banks of the River Severn. The complex comprises three lakes -- the Specimen, Match and Arena -- offering 190 lake pegs plus 80 pegs on a mile-long stretch of the River Severn. The Match Lake hosts the prestigious New Golden Reel event, one of the richest finals in coarse angling.

Smallest of the three lakes but capable of producing massive weights. Stocked mainly with carp and bream plus roach, hybrids, tench and eels. Weights of 8-28lb typical. Bomb and feeder fishing permitted since 2015 (previously float only). Pellets, meat, corn and maggots preferred hookbaits.

  • Barbless hooks only. Break-free rigs only -- no fixed rigs.
Bait
  • All feed pellets must be purchased from the fishery. Hook pellets are of your own choice.
  • No bloodworm or joker.
  • No macaroni cheese or cat food.
  • No tiger nuts, peanuts or other nut baits.
Access
  • A valid Environment Agency rod licence is required.
  • Fishing from 7am to 8pm during summer; 7am to dusk in winter.
  • Night fishing by prior special arrangement only.
