About This Fishery

A friendly, family-run two-lake coarse fishery set on the outskirts of the Chiltern Hills near Leighton Buzzard. The Top Lake (2 acres) and Bottom Lake (2.5 acres) are well-established waters set in tranquil natural surroundings with abundant wildlife. Disabled access with wooden and steel platforms on all swims. Open from 1 March to 30 November.

2-acre mixed fishery with a large island and reed-lined margins. 27 swims, all with secure wooden or steel platforms with disabled access. Larger carp found here including grass carp known for hard fighting. Lake record just over 25lb. Shallow areas and deep holes are productive once located.

  • Nets must be dipped before fishing.
  • Ground bait is limited to 2 pints per angler per day.
  • Ground up pellets are not to be used.
  • Boilies are permitted on hook only.
  • Bloodworm, joker or nuts are NOT allowed.
  • Barbless hooks only
  • No braided line
  • No bolt rigs or method feeder (free running only).
  • Bait boats are not allowed.
  • Please take your litter home
  • Dogs are allowed but must be kept on leads.
  • NO bad language. Lakeside Fishery is a family fishery and bad language will not be tolerated.
