Killingworth Lake comprises two coarse lakes set within Killingworth Lakeside Park, managed by the Tyneside Anglers Alliance (TAA) since the early 1970s when the waters were saved for public use. The large lake offers disabled wheelchair access along its south bank. Day tickets are available to the public from Killingworth Leisure Centre and the White Swan Centre.
