Tackle

Barbless hooks only on all lakes.
Carp and Willow lakes: full carp-friendly gear required including padded unhooking mat and minimum 26-inch carp-friendly landing net.
Fishing with rods and poles only - no hand lines, no fly fishing.
Maximum 2 rods per angler (1 rod only on Heron Lake).
No braid allowed.
No fixed leads or feeders - must be free running.
Strictly no surface fishing on any lake.

Bait

Coarse pellet only (available from the tackle shop). No floating or surface baits, no bread, no dog biscuits, no meat of any kind, no nuts or tiger nuts.
Maximum 2 kilos of groundbait per session.

Conduct

All fish to be returned to the water immediately. No keep nets or sacks.
No alcohol, fires or barbeques on site.
No dogs or other pets allowed on site.

Access

A valid Environment Agency rod licence is required.
Fishing from designated platforms only - do not fish from the banks.

Safety

All children must be accompanied by a fishing adult at all times.
