About This Fishery

A secluded three-acre estate lake off Junction 2 of the M6 near Shilton, developed into a day-ticket carp and coarse venue since 1993. Depths range from 6ft to 8ft at the dam end and the lake holds mirror, common, ghost and linear carp with some fish over 30lb, large bream to 15lb, perch and roach. The fishery is otter-fenced and carefully managed with annual surveys and controlled stocking. Closed 1 December to 1 March and during spawning.
