About This Fishery

Set just off the A449 Worcester to Ombersley dual carriageway, Hawford Bridge Fishery offers four mature reed-lined lakes covering around 40 acres in total, plus a mile of single and double bank fishing on the River Salwarpe. Completed in 1992 and developed by lifelong local angler Trevor Smith, the fishery is renowned throughout Worcestershire for its large head of Ghost Carp alongside Commons and Mirrors to 25lb, with perch topping 4lb in Bridge Lake.

Nearly 2 acres. Similar character to Penlake with central island, reed beds and overhanging willows. Has a particular heavyweight running to 23lb. Favoured pegs along the causeway between Broomhill and Bridge.
