About This Fishery

An 18-hectare natural glacial mere in the Welsh Marches, operated by RH Fisheries as a premier specimen carp venue. The Mere holds over 1,200 carp with fish exceeding 45lb, including a current lake record of 48lb 8oz. Pre-booked 3- or 6-day sessions; anglers check in at The Monument (TF11 8SD) before travelling the 3 miles to the mere.

  • No retaining rings or carp sacks
  • Bring your own landing net, we provide unhooking mats, slings and buckets
  • Bait boats are permitted
  • No drones
  • No Selphie photograpy
  • All anglers must check in at The Monument Fishery (TF11 8SD) at 8am on the session start date to pay the balance and collect compulsory RH bait.
  • RH Fisheries bait (boilies, particles, pellets) must be used at all times; own hook baits permitted.
  • Bait boat hire available on site; strongly recommended for pegs beyond 1-3 due to long casting distances (70-140 yards).
