One of Cheshire's premier day ticket fisheries, set in beautiful countryside between Macclesfield and Congleton. Six distinct waters include the historic Wall Pool — originally a carp pool for Gawsworth Hall over 400 years ago — and the flagship Wood Pool, holding specimen carp to 30lb+ alongside monster tench to 9lb and barbel to 6lb. The Serpentine Match Canal hosts regular club and open matches.
Originally constructed over 400 years ago as a carp pool for Gawsworth Hall. Some wooden staging from earlier fly-fishing era. Stocked with leisure and smaller carp, ghost carp to 10lb+, crucians, chub, barbel, roach and perch. Great for pleasure anglers.
Flagship specimen water. Island within easy casting distance, extensive reedy margins including some snaggy swims. Matured over two decades. All species in excellent condition.
Balances specimen hunting with casual angling. Large carp to 25lb+ plus heavy crucian stocking making it popular with match anglers. Lily pads provide cover.

Opened 2006. Two islands as features, plus reeds and lilies. Excellent winter sport and big summer bags. Deepest and most reliable all-year-round water on the complex.
Private match canal. Well-spaced flat pegs. Maximum 46 pegs. Very uniform — matches are won by skill. Heavily stocked with smaller carp to 6lb, bream, tench and crucians. Club and open matches regularly held here.
