Flushing Meadows Fisheries

A peaceful mixed coarse day fishery set on five farm pools of varying sizes in the beautiful Cheshire countryside near Acton Bridge. There are no matches or night sessions — just traditional, relaxed fishing in a quiet rural setting with disabled-priority pegs available and tickets paid on the bank.

• Day tickets are payable on the bank at each pond. Anglers must stay on their first chosen pool and cannot move to another pool or peg on the same day.
• No keepnets.
• All nets must be dipped and rinsed in tubs provided before going to peg. No assembled tackle to be carried around the fishery.
• Landing net must be used to lift all fish from the water — one landing net per peg. Mats must be used for large fish. No fish to be handled more than 2 feet from the ground.
• Nylon line only. No braided line.
• No dogs unless written permission obtained from owner.
• No alcoholic or canned drinks. No radios.
• No litter or discarded line to be left. All litter to be taken home.
• Children under 12 may only fish immediately next to a paying parent or guardian. Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult aged 21 or over on a one-to-one basis.
• Under-18s may only use one rod. No non-fishing friends allowed with teenagers.
• Pool 2 (Small Marl): maximum hook size 16. One rod per person only on this pool.
• Disabled anglers and blue badge holders have priority on pegs at Pools 2 and 3.
