A five-pool, spring-fed coarse fishery established in 2006, set in a scenic valley close to J17 of the M6 near Sandbach. Ranging from the all-round pleasure fishing of Far Hope and Big Beam to the specimen-laden Sandy Pool with carp to 25lb+ and catfish to 44lb, Fields Farm caters for every style of angler. An adjacent Camping and Caravanning Club site makes it a popular destination for fishing holidays.
All-round match and pleasure pool. Central island. Widely spaced pegs offering varying distances. Good all year with pellet, meat, corn, or method feeder to the island.
Largest pool on the fishery. Canal design with three legs — accommodates small or large matches. Nearly all pegs fish to 13.5m at the far bank. Thousands of F1s. Also open for pleasure.
Excellent silver fish water. Quality crucians to 3lb and tench to 6lb. Also carries carp, chub, barbel, rudd, roach, perch, and bream to 6lb. Good all-year fishing. Close to parking.
Specimen pool. Irregularly shaped with a sunken island (can be snaggy). Reed and lily beds offer additional features. Larger hooks allowed (see rules). Halibut pellets and meat recommended for catfish.
Newest pool, closest to the farm buildings. Circular with two islands. Adjacent to the Camping and Caravanning Club site. Hard-standing parking at the farm end of the pool.
