Opening Information Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm. Friday 8am–6pm. Saturday 8am–5pm. Sunday 9am–1pm. Last entry 2 hours before closing unless pre-arranged. Open all year except a short closure over Christmas.
About This Fishery

A friendly, family-run fishery set in 13 acres on the edge of Ellesmere Port and Chester, with three well-maintained lakes catering for match anglers, pleasure anglers, beginners and children. Professional tuition from experienced match angler Andy May is available, and an on-site tackle shop stocks bait and tackle from leading brands.

Main match water. Well stocked with Mirror Carp, Common Carp, F1s, Ide, Barbel, Bream and Perch, fish 1–13lb. Ideal for organised matches and regular anglers.

Fishery Rules
  • Barbless hooks only. Maximum hook size 10.
  • No braided line. No fixed rigs. No elasticated method feeders.
  • No keepnets except during organised matches.
  • All nets and unhooking mats must be dipped before fishing.
  • Only Cheshire Oaks Fisheries own-brand pellets may be used for feeding. Maximum 2kg groundbait.
  • No meat, floating bait or bread.
  • No balling in of bait. Do not throw unused bait into the water after fishing.
  • Each angler must have their own landing net, unhooking mat and disgorger.
  • Under-14s must be accompanied by an experienced adult on the same peg.
  • Anglers under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  • Please take all rubbish home or place it in the bins provided.
