About This Fishery

Established 1995 by Phil & Jude Simmons. Voted one of the 50 fisheries you must fish by Angler's Mail and in the top 100 fisheries by Angling Times. Adjoining campsite (electric/non-electric pitches) and two 300-year-old barn conversion holiday cottages on site, plus an on-site café (Tiffin Group).

  • All anglers must have barbless hooks, a disgorger, a fish-friendly landing net capable of holding 15lb+, and a landing mat
  • Fish-friendly keepnets only, different sized species must not be mixed in the same net
  • No dried nuts or bloodworm
  • Boilies hook bait only, not as feed
  • All other baits max 1kg
  • No unattended rods
  • No braided line
  • No stalking — fish from a peg only
  • No bait boats
  • 14s and under must be accompanied by an adult; non-fishing visitors under 18 not accepted without adult supervision
  • No dogs
